Introduces the legal aid community's unique history and mission as well as the 'nuts and bolts' of a lawyer's trade - from client interviewing, case analysis and counseling to motion practice, negotiations and broad-based advocacy. New advocates are also given the tools they need to develop realistic professional development goals. This is an essential training for every new lawyer.
