The next Public Benefits and Health Law Task Force meeting will be on Friday, October 15 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Lone Star Legal Aid in Houston (1415 Fannin Street, Houston).

Please RSVP no later than October 8. Your RSVP helps us accurately plan for room size and meal counts. To RSVP for this Public Benefits & Health Law Task Force meeting, please email Kathy Casarez at Kathy.casarez@texasbar.com by October 8 and indicate:

1. Your full name (include email addresses, if you RSVP for persons other than yourself) 2. Your organization and its location 3. If your attendance will be a) in person or b) by teleconference (If you wish to participate by phone, Kathy will email the conference code prior to the meeting) 4. If you prefer a vegetarian meal for lunch or if you have other dietary restrictions

For interested LSC-funded staff attorneys: Texas Lawyers Care will reimburse reasonable, actual travel expenses for one participant per program branch office to attend the Task Force meeting. The lesser amount of mileage or airfare will be reimbursed. Any request for reimbursement of additional expenses, including car rental or hotel, must be pre-approved by Texas Lawyers Care. For your convenience, a copy of the reimbursement guidelines is attached. If you have any questions about reimbursements, please contact Kathy Casarez at Kathy.casarez@texasbar.com prior to your travel. Reimbursement forms will be emailed to participants after the meeting, so please be sure to sign the sign-in sheet at the meeting. Please note, actual itemized receipts for expenses must be submitted with each request for reimbursement.
