The next Family Law Task Force Meeting will be on Friday, October 15th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Texas Law Center, Room 410. The Texas Law Center is located at 1414 Colorado Street, Austin, TX 78701.

Please RSVP no later than October 8, 2010. Your RSVP helps us accurately plan for room size, meal counts and MCLE accreditation.

Parking will be available at the Wells Fargo Bank at 300 W. 15th Street. Entrance to the parking garage is on Guadalupe Street. Please bring your parking ticket and we will validate it for you at the meeting.

As a result of construction and the Chief Disciplinary Counsel's relocation to the Texas Law Center, visitor parking is no longer available at the Texas Law Center. The parking garage is only accessible for staff and those with a State Bar of Texas badge. If you require accessible parking due to a disability, you will be able to park in the Texas Law Center garage. You will need to press the call button and let security know you are attending the Task Force meeting and require handicap accessible parking. I regret any inconvenience this may cause.

For interested TAJF-funded staff attorneys: Texas Lawyers Care will reimburse reasonable, actual travel expenses for one participant per program branch office to attend the Task Force meeting. The lesser amount of mileage or airfare will be reimbursed. Attached for your convenience, is a copy of the Reimbursement/Guideline form. Any request for reimbursement of additional expenses, including car rental or hotel, must be pre-approved by Texas Lawyers Care. Please familiarize yourself with this form prior to making your arrangements. If you have any questions about reimbursements, please contact Kathy Casarez at Kathy.Casarez@texasbar.com prior to your travel. Please note: actual itemized receipts for expenses must be submitted with each request for reimbursement. Failure to produce receipts may result in expenses not being reimbursed.
